“Pole Bridge” by Stock and “Lake McDonald” by RachelPole bridgeLake McDonald

Montana has been very good to us. The huge wonder goes on forever with endless breathtaking vistas and wildlife sightings, we’re seriously becoming attached. A visit with our friends Bill Cody and Linda Mitchell has put this leg of our journey over the top.

This past week has been stormy which produces intensely beautiful lighting effects, so inviting to paint. And we have more time than usual to do so, day breaks around 4:30 and the sun goes down after 10:00. We hope to see the Northern Lights…we don’t know how long Montana will hold us…and we’re not struggling.
